Notice pursuant to Articles 13 of EU Regulation No. 2016/679 (“GDPR”), Article 122 of Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 (“Privacy Code), and the General Provision of the Privacy Authority dated 8 May 2014

1. Data Controller and Processor

The web site www.ri-velo.it (the “Site”) is managed by Consorzio RIVELO, which assumes, therefore, the role of Data Controller for the personal data on the site (with headquarters at Piazza Cittadella 12, 37122 Verona, contact e-mail address info@ri-velo.it).

The IT Data Processor for personal data through the Site is designated, under Articles 28-29 of the GDPR, as the company DIAMENTE S.r.l., with its registered office at Via Archimede 10, 37036 San Martino Buon Albergo (Verona), which created the Site and as a provider, through another entity (the company’s provider), for hosting services of the Site, including aspects of technical support, back-up, and implementation of adequate security measures (physical-environmental and logical) on personal data, in compliance with GDPR regulations.

2. Cookies Used

The Site uses cookies to make its services simple and efficient for users who view its pages. Users accessing the Site will see small amounts of information placed on the devices in use, whether computer or mobile devices, in small text files called “cookies” saved in the web browser directories used by each user.

There are various types of cookies, some aimed at making the Site’s use more efficient, others enabling certain features, and still others for tracking user profiles (in terms of habits, tastes, and preferences).

2.1 Site Manager’s Cookies

Among those highlighted above, the Site Manager uses only “technical” cookies, defined as those used solely for the purpose of “transmitting a communication over an electronic communication network or to the extent strictly necessary for the information society service provider explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide such service” (Article 122, paragraph 1, of the Privacy Code).

No prior user consent is required for the installation and use of these cookies as they are necessary cookies, indispensable for the correct functioning of applications.

Among these, browsing or session cookies are mentioned, which are intended to ensure the normal navigation and use of the Site, thus making navigation within it functional and optimized.

2.2 Third-Party Cookies

Analytics cookies are present, sent by domains external to the Site, to collect anonymous information about the Site’s use by users, such as pages visited, time spent, sources of traffic origin, geographic origin, age, gender, and interests for marketing campaigns.

3. Installing / Uninstalling Cookies: Browser Options

Users can prevent cookies from being stored on their devices by configuring the browser used for browsing. If the Site is used without changing browser settings, it is assumed that the user intends to receive all cookies used by the Site and to take advantage of all functionalities.

The Site, therefore, allows selecting/deselecting individual cookies, which can be disabled by adjusting the browser settings as described below, but please note that deactivation may result in the Site’s incomplete usability.

Firefox:

– Open Firefox

– Press the “Alt” button on your keyboard

– In the toolbar at the top of the browser, select “Tools” and then “Options”

– Select the “Privacy” tab

– Go to “History Settings” and then “Use custom settings”

– Uncheck “Accept cookies from sites” and save your preferences

Internet Explorer:

– Open Internet Explorer

– Click on “Tools” then “Internet Options”

– Select the “Privacy” tab and adjust the privacy slider to the desired level (up to block all cookies, down to allow all)

– Then click “OK”

Google Chrome:

– Click on the “Tools” icon

– Select “Settings” and then “Advanced Settings”

– Under “Privacy,” select “Content Settings”

– In the “Cookies” tab, you can deselect cookies and save preferences

Safari:

– Open Safari

– Choose “Preferences” from the toolbar, then select the “Security” panel in the following dialog box

– In the “Accept cookies” section, you can specify if and when Safari should save cookies from web sites. For more information, click the Help button (marked with a question mark)

– To see which cookies are stored on your computer, click “Show cookies”

4. Links to Other Sites

Some pages of the Site may contain links to other web sites outside the Site Manager’s control, and with which it does not share personal data.
